May 11

Park City to Steamboat Spring, CO, we were all hoping this would be the last day of heated suits and warm weather gear. Last year it was so hot the whole ride that we moved the ride this year to May. Everyone was worried all winter that it would be freezing but so far it had been a very nice ride.

We rode 21 miles to Heber City, UT for a gas and go. Some nights we top off our tanks some nights we don't. When we don't the first leg is always short. Don't want to run anyone out of gas!

Second fuel stop was Jensen, UT. To get to Jensen we pass through Duchesne, Myton, Roosevelt, Vernal, and Naples. All on Hwy 40. The cool part of this trip was Vernal. There were Dinosaurs everywhere! Pink ones, Blue ones, bones and fossils anything dinosaurs all the time.

From Jensen to Craig, CO you can see the change in the geography. It's so cool to ride a bike and feel the temperature change and be surrounded by the world.

Craig to Steamboat Springs was beautiful. That's the stretch of road where we saw the most wildlife. Buffalo, Elk and deer were all along the way. I always wonder what it was like to ride a horse and wagon out across this land. The wildness and the unknowns of what lay ahead.

We rode into Steamboat Springs and right up to the Steamboat Grand Resort Hotel. There were people waiting on us and we had a check presentation from 2 Dream Teams. The hotel was again amazing. We unloaded and found our rooms. We had about an hour to clean up for dinner.

Dinner was special. We gave out patches for the people who had ridden all 15 years. There are only 13 of us. Click was one of the 13 so we gave his patch to Diane and Chelsea. It's cool how this group is so close. Sometimes I feel it's more family than riders Miles, 319
